North London Mosque Trust (NLMT) is a registered charity and it was first established in 1974 under the name Naquib-ul-Islam Society. It is also known as Masjid-e-Quba.

The Masjid was first established in 1974 at 82 Forburg Road, London N16. It was later moved to the current location (70-72 Cazenove Road, London N16 6AA) in 1978.
Masjid e Quba follows the methodology of Imaam Abu Hanifa R.A. and is Sunni.

The Trust’s objectives being to promote any charitable purpose for the benefit of Muslim Community in UK, in particular the advancement of education, the relief of poverty, distress & sickness and to provide facilities for Salaah (Prayers), Eid festivals, Madrasah (Islamic education for children & adult), Marriage (Nikah & Marriage Registration), Funeral services and Guidance & Counselling services.
The Masjid runs various Islamic courses throughout the week as well as evening madrasah between 4:30pm to 7:30pm Monday to Friday for ages 5 to 16. The Madrasah also runs Hifz classes for boys and girls.
The Masjid holds 5 daily prayers as well as Jumu’ah and Eid prayers.
We have “Ta’leem” daily after Asr, Maghrib or Esha prayer depending on the season. Normally it’s about 8pm and is delivered in Urdu by our Imaam Moulana Abdus Salaam. Friday afternoon lectures alternate between English and Urdu on a weekly basis. The Friday lectures starts approximately 30 minutes before the first Jumu’ah adhaan.
Marriage services (both Nikah & Marriage Registration) are provided in the Masjid. Nikah ceremony is performed in the main prayer hall and marriage registration on the ground floor prayer hall in the main building.
As part of the funeral service, the Masjid has facility for washing deceased bodies and to perform Janazah salah. The funeral service is provided by TPICA (Tottenham Park Islamic Cemetery Association).
Guidance & Counselling services are provided by the Imams appointed by the Trust.
The main prayer hall and the lobby area in the basement accommodates up to 1000 people and about another 1000 people on the three floors in the main building. although we do not have a dedicated prayer hall for ladies, the first floor prayer hall in the main building is dedicated & used by female members of our staff & students and this floor has toilet & ablution facilities.
